    Yea, doesn't matter too much right now, I have my encore version. And unless it's unpainted like my stunticons, then I'd prefer plastic chests anyway. Plus it doesn't matter so much these days as these are toys that collectors buy so durability means less.

    Oh sorry man, thanks for the heads up anyway. I'm sure there are some people that are ebay hunting for these and would like the news in advance so they can get them now.

    I share MV75's sentiments -- I don't think it would matter to most fans since the toy's already been reissued. From a scumbag^bootlegger's POV you wanna release your illegal counterfeit fake imitation before HasTak reissue it.

    I hope these KOs shelfwarm and the bootleggers make no profit from.

    The die cast chest becomes an obvious giveaway that the toy is not real so it may be of little consequence.

    Except that it will diminish the value of original die-cast Combaticons.

    Although it is a daft toy to knockoff considering the number of times it's been reissued in various forms. And it would be amusing if the KO mould was 'better' than the degraded official one.

    I'm truely not seeing mold degradation. My encore is pretty good. Blastoffs nose is perfect, swindle is fine, etc.

    But yea, it's a pretty stupid choice to ko them now. So many opportunities to get this set for real.
