If you manage to get yourself a Kolinsky sable-hair brush that would be best. It is very soft and won't scratch already worn chrome and plastics.

Just go into any department store cosmetics section and look for makeup brushes. They also have useful stuff like files and nail varnish colours (chameleon colours even). If anyone asks just say this is for my gf

I use a micro fibre cloth and occasionally a soft toothbrush
wow, some good ideas! I use an anti-static duster brush.
Large paintbrushes work for me, as long as the bristles aren't to stiff.
Same as Zed. The hairs are soft enough to even brush dust away from chrome (just don't do it if its flaky!)
