Thanks for posting the pics JustOwen, he looks older than he appeared on TV. But then that was 4 years ago....I sure hope my leave gets approved. yeah I filed for a leave instead coz Im not trusting they would grant me my "requested" roster shift... they tend to ruin my plans by giving me a night shift the day before my requested day off which kinda defeats the purpose of my day off coz I end up snoozing the day out.

5FDP the only one Ive been (sydney) back then had very little in TF wise - Casefresh was the only stall back then that was selling discounted TFs - and they're inactive now....the other ones selling the Takara booktype TFs were priced quite exorbitantly...

I was excited looking at the guest list until I saw cancelled next to Boris Vellejo and Julie Bell
I'll still look to get my Rogue Trooper stuff signed by Colin Wilson.

It was disappointing when Case Fresh pulled out of Supanova. Even their website seems to have fewer Transformers these days.

I haven't bought from them in about 4 years.

Anyone get to the Melbourne show this weekend? I forgot it was this weekend. I might have been interested to go to see Ianto from Torchwood.

I was there for the two days, plus the Friday evening for the Perez-Wolfman Supa-pass. Transformers-wise, I didn't really see much at all. A few Encore cassette sets and SkyLynx (didn't check price but sure to be over-inflated), $280 for a MP Megatron, some of the DST busts...was on the look out for Animated Arcee but no dice. Nice to meet Perez and Wolfman (who I got to thank for bringing back Optimus Prime!), here's the two sketches I was able to score over the weekend.

So all in all, a better-than-I-expected con, if you were there just for Transformers, you probably would have been disappointed.

I was only there for saturday but I saw more transformers than blink did. Apart from what was already mentioned I saw the following

Encores: bruticus, hoist, trailbreaker, metroplex, ironhide, ratchet, megatron, starscream and sunstorm.

Henkei: skywarp, dinobot and minibot teams.

Reissues: star convoy, laser rod optimus prime and its ultra magnus repaint.

Masterpiece: convoy with trailer, megatron and grimlock.

Busts: Cliffjumper, elita one, frenzy/ratbat, dirge, ramjet, thrust, megatron, jetfire, ultra magnus and bumblebee.

Plus they had other merchandise like wallets, keyrings, necklaces, bobble heads etc

It wasn't bad I got some good bargains like cliffjumper bust for $20 and henkei skywarp for $50.
