Just discovered a new band on YouTube. Apostolica
Have in recent weeks bought the box set of Detroit Stories by Alice Cooper. It's most original feature is the mini flashlight that projects Alice's eyes on the wall.
The album itself does a good job of paying tribute to the city's rich music history such as the blues, classic soul and The Stooges and MC5* styles of punk.
*In fact Wayne Kramer (of the MC5) pops up on ten of the fifteen tracks.
Gregorian Chants do a version of Nothing Else Matters... heheh
I've recently been on a Mongolian binge thanks to my favourite sumo wrestler Asashoryu Akinori, & along the way I've discovered The Hu.
I present Metallica's Sad But True sung in Mongolian

The Hu are great. That cover is phenomenal. Sadly I can't say I like their collaborations with the guy from Papa Roach. Their original album version is better than with him imo
Foo Fighters do a blackened thrash metal track. And it's old school. I loved when Dave did Probot, and this is right up alley
