The reason I voted for Beethoven is for the Allegretto from Symphony No 7. Which accompanies the final kick in the balls from a certain notorious ultra-violent French film.
Otherwise Erik Satie's Gymnopedie No.1 is my favorite individual piece - orchestrated preferably, otherwise piano, wind or strings. Even the Cafe del Mar remix is sublime.![]()

Although I did appreciate Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the fine motion picture 'Bill and Ted's excellent adventure' so it was a close call.
