It was a G1 joke-reference; cos Sideswipe and Sunstreake are twin brothers in G1... so ya know... Sunstreaker = parasitic conjoined twins.

I like to think of this as Ratchet and Ultra Magnus back in the Great War. Incidentally, I'm not sure about how many other Autobots who were around then have toys-the only other I can think of is Prowl (not counting Arcee since she hasn't been released).
