I was never a huge fan of alternity either. Mostly because they're pretty pricey (i.e. similar RRP as Binaltechs, only smaller :/). I picked up a few Alternity characters that were never released as Binaltechs or Alternator...

So does this mean Alternity Ultra Magnus isn't going ahead?

    Magnus was released in August.
Which brings us to where we are today...

I quite liked the line if I'm being honest.

And I really liked where it was heading - Optimus Prime, Megatron and Bumblebee were basically just downsized Alternators but the aesthetic on Starscream was beginning to move in an interesting (and enjoyably alien) direction.

I'm still consider breaking my only buying an expensive mold once policy and getting Thundercracker and Skywarp to go with my Starscream.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

I believe the Alternity line contains the best engineering of any Transformers to date. I will be very sad to see it end. I'm much happier that I collected these instead of BTs as after playing with these, BTs seem bulky, less advanced, less realistic and dated.

I really liked this line and hope that it lives on. It might be the licensing and smaller market that makes it less profitable than other lines.

It's possible that the line may just take a 'break' and then reappear under another label. Something similar to how Henkei has now become United.
