Default To old to collect TFs?

Hi guys been a while. I do pop in time to time and its good to see some of the same crew still posting.I am 36 and would like to hear from some of you not so younger blokes about what keeps you inspired to collect. im not sure if its just life passing me by and im to old or if mr bay has saped any intrest in TFs out of me. Think my G1 collection is the only thing i stop and look at these days.Love to hear from any senior members.

Its normaly value for money that stops me buying anything- I look at stuff and think- well i could buy this or i could put it towards (insert lame purpose here).

Time has been a thing for me too- ive go around 3x50 litre tubs of stuff i havent even opened!

Now that ROTF stuff has slowed down ive slowed down on purchases. The realistic concept vehicles the movie stuff is based on is all but done with now i guess until the next movie is out.

I really enjoy TF's that are based on real vehicles.

Inspiriation is the next "classics/generations" remake, or the next encore type of release.

I'm in my mid-30's too and I guess I'm inspired by the thrill of the hunt and seeing how far the engineering has come since G1.

For instance, comparing most of the Classics / Universe / Generation toys to their G1 counterparts - now that's how they should have looked back in the day cause that's how I remember the characters to be.

I'm holding my breath now for the Takara Unicron release (somebody tap me on the shoulder if I look like I'm about to pass out)

38 is not senior is it!?!?!?
I like the modern engineering of the toys - compared to some of the "bricks" from the original series.
And playing with them with the kids.
