Hi, I occasionally visit Australia (Perth) because my father has a job here, so I come over during the holidays. Of course, I can never stop my itching hands from collecting TF and I discovered this wonderful community!
First of all, thanks so much for having this section for introductions, it's really among the most innovative ideas I've seen for a forum, and it's very welcoming.
I was a fan since I was a kid in 1996 when Beast Wars first aired. I had heard of Transformers (G1) earlier, but only got into it with the Beast Warriors. Although I dropped out of collecting for some time, I recently started again with Revenge of the Fallen, and Animated cemented my love for the franchise.
I mostly collect on impulse and will willingly buy any toy that looks good (which luckily, Transformers seems to have a lot of characters that do) and is cheap, so I don't collect any specific lines, just random characters from this generation or the other. I enjoy fiddling with my figures and transforming them so I look for durability in figures. Besides Transformers, I also like and occasionally collect Star Wars, superheroes, and Power Rangers.
