yeah, a dealer was selling this at Sydney SupaNova on the weekend.
While I do like the Dirge mould, I don't like it enough to want a repaint. It is a good mould though.Originally Posted by SharkyMcShark

IMO i think if you already have Dirge, then you can give this one a skip.
I think this toy mold isn't as impressive as the seeker jet molds from Classics/Universe.
I grabbed one and did what Hasbro should have done - repainted it into Ramjet. Looks really good in those colours.
Cos that totally stopped them giving us two different Transformers called Jolt (or arguably Dead End) in the movieverse!![]()
Well played, sir!
Although I think Jolt had kinda been intended to be Classics-verse, in the same way that Big Daddy, Crasher/Fracture, Crankcase, Getaway were more like Classics toys, but forced into the movie line due to retailers wishes. And what will happen with any "Generations" toy that isn't Deluxe sized, like the G1 Legends figures, Sea Spray, Windcharger, Sandstorm, etc.
Although Jolt, Fracture, Divebomb, Crankcase, etc were then all put into movie canon by IDW...
I just know that when I think movie Ramjet, I think white Starscream. And, having set the precedent that the Coneheads need not look the same (Dirge & Thrust) I don't see a reason for the newest repaint to be Ramjet just because he's Black & White. Overall Hasbro's been doing a fairly good job of making sure we don't have multiple different versions of a character in the line (Evac, Dead End, Bludgeon, and Jolt excluded...)
Next up for the 'twice in the same toy line' trick is Classics Dirge, who already got a figure in the 'Roadbuster/Dirge' two pack.
