    Default Bored of the internet?

Considering how much information is freely available on the internet, you would think that it would be fairly difficult to become bored with 'web surfing' however that's exactly the predicament that I'm in.

I have a few regular sites that I visit but not all are updated as frequently as I would like. Sometimes I sit at my work desk wanting something new and interesting to read but I can't find anything of interest (aside from OTCA of course ).

This thread is for people to make suggestions or rather share their favourite web sites in the hope that boredom never happens to you.

Obviously, keep this clean and no hot linking as per board rules

    Let's see.....

OCAU - www.overclockers.com.au - I read the news and do the forums.
HardOCP - www.hardocp.com - Mostly for news. It's my home page.
Exult - exult.sourceforge.net - Project for running ultima7 on modern systems and ports.
Abandonia - www.abandonia.com/en - I mostly go and play the daily quiz.
Vintage computers - www.vintage-computer.com - Currently interested in the xt-at keyboard project, which I built a prototype from their schematics, and the xt-ide project, which I've got the pcb for and most of the parts. Mostly soldered, just gotta get three resistor networks and the main IC chip. Oh yes, I do electronics.

I get board of the Internet myself, but a few minutes to Hours watching Television it changes my view very quickly

Some of the things i do is:
Do other things on the net ...
Like "in my case" sometimes, i watch Youtube Videos of "Rally" or "Aircraft" type things or something else if i get board of this to etc...

    or

Avoid the Internet for a Day or Two "if not until you feel you are interested again"
If possible, try stay away from the Computer/Internet unless it is absolutely necessary and do something else while avoiding the Computer/Internet

Like play a console game, use the time sort though your Transformer Collection, or something like this, even to use the time to relax a bit more...

anyway, this is how i deal with it ...

I may come of as a bit sadistic, but usually jump on youtube to watch stupid people do stupid things and usually end up hurting themselves, or funny animals doing funny things. Incidentally, I found some pretty funny videos on youtube recently, and I gotta post em.

But sadly, I too am getting bored of the internet a bit. If I am at home, I usually just play some old school game (currently Blood, next Shadow Warrior )

Off the computer, I usually belt out some songs if I am stressed after work.

Yeah, the weird thing is when I get bored of surfing the net I can't just simply walk away. It's like watching a car crash
