The subject of accessories is an interesting one... The Matrix seems obvious but I wonder if they'll do it, since Prime already had one. Fishing Rod... Firebolt Target Master - i guess this is unlikely for Japan though. Optimus Prime statue so he knows what he's got to live up to?

A Masterpiece Hot Rod needs to have a hand that can retract to reveal a spinning cutting blade. If the Deluxe Classics toy can attempt it, a Masterpiece toy sure can.

It'd be cool if MP Firebolt's helmet was removable revealing his Nebulan head underneath (as seen in the Cybertron Chronicles manga). It'd also be neat if his body could change a bit to transform him to Rodimus Convoy in robot mode (e.g. limb and torso extensions to make him taller, and a flip-around face like with the MP Seekers). I guess it'd be a bit much to expect the toy to come with a trailer that could fit over Hot Rodimus' car mode to make it Rodimus Convoy (not to mention making the toy more expensive) A chest compartment with Matrix chamber would be neat too.

I really hope it's not much larger than the Alternators version - things that Transform into cars that are much larger than that always feel too oversized.

I agree, the car would have to be enormous to reach MP Prime's robot height.
I'm hoping they have him in a movie-magenta colour instead of red we're used to seeing him in.



Makes you wonder which transformation scheme they'll go for too!
