    Default Animated in Generations

Do we actually have a definitive list of which of the new Animated toys (Arcee, Cybertron Ratchet, Wingblade Optimus, Blackout, Rodimus, etc.) are going to be released through the Generations line, if any?

I'll get them from HLJ if I have to, but I'd rather avoid the expense if they're going to rock up here eventually.

Since Generations itself is supposed to only consist of Deluxes, it definitely won't include Wingblade Prime or Blackout, so unless they're going to be in another line, you might be safe ordering them.

(In vaguely related news, I only just heard that there's going to be Generations toy of Thunderwing. Potentially exciting!)

No, that is super exciting! But I believe Thunderwing IS bigger than a deluxe, so depending on how far into the future he and the forgotten animated figures are planned for released, the bigger animated dudes might be: in Generations packaging, there own packaging, or not out in Aus at all

I think as far as Hasbro's concerned, Generations and the yellow/red packaged line are the same thing, both available for Classics/Universe/Generations style homage releases. It seems Hasbro just wanted to have a few lines to aide in getting more shelf space at retailers. So, there already are planned to be generations-esque voyagers in the other line, so I think it is possible that we might see Animated Voyagers.

However, while I no longer consider the "Generations is only a deluxe line" to be an issue, I still don't think we'll see the voyagers. So, my recommendation is to get them from TT. Only Rodimus and Ironhide have been confirmed from Hasbro.
