    Wink Sams Theme- Stan Bush

I know this has been covered to death but...

I was just cruising youtube and stumbled on Stan Bush's remake of "the touch".

I ask myself - was it really that bad?

    Im thinking no.

Just thought this might be an interesting discussion to revisit.

Id add a link but ive forgotten how to!

    Just google Stan Bush,Sams theme

The Rappity Rap-Rap guy ruins it for me.

Here is the shortpacked take on it which is hilariously true with the guitar guy.

I really like "The Touch" I play it on Guitar Hero, sometimes I use it as my ringtone and one of my created wrestlers uses it as his entrance theme in Smackdown vs Raw 2010.

But I hate this version... Oh and Marky Mark's version in Boogie Knights. I know he had to sing it bad but that bad?????

Ditto. Loved the original, this version fails for me. I too loved playing it on GH, though I tried to sing and play at the same time and sucked (I can't sing cleanly to save my life)

I loved it But then again, I'm different

Been listening to A Perfect Circle 'The Outsider' which features on the new RE: Afterlife movie. That song also rocks

Does Stan Bush even have a career anymore?

The only people who seem to know him are Transformer geeks, and the only songs of his I know are the ones he did for the G1 movie.

I wonder whether he rues the day he agreed to do some songs for that transforming robot toy movie.

He's still around. He did the end credit music for WFC. Also, since 2000 he's released an album almost every 3 years with his latest 'Dream The Dream' (2010).

He actually did some of the corniest but somehow still cool songs from Van Damme movies of the 80's - my favs: Kickboxer - Streets of Siam and Bloodsport - Fight to Survive (my wife cringes everytime she hears the repeating 'Kumite!' bit)
