Predaking 2010 Reissue Confirmed!

I believe they've just used the DVD Masterpiece Optimus Prime stand as a prototype; I'm assuming that it will be retooled for Predaking. Those tech spec cards also look the same as the ones from the 2004 reissue - so it wouldn't surprise me if they're just stand ins until they finalise what the 2010 reissue tech specs will look like, possibly with the "2010" logo on it. Or maybe they will look the same, who knows.

No. I'm not at all thrilled by this reissue and prefer the look of the original yellow. But I'm weird that way - if they'd entirely changed Predaking's colours to fluorescent green, cyan and magenta then I'd be all over it. Merely turn the yellow gold and I'm all... meh.

No, but if I didn't have the Takara reissue I'd wouldn't turn this release down because of the colour.

I think the display stand is the prize item from the 2010 promotion. It's a bit odd that it appears to be a prototype though, considering the stand was shown to be the same as that which came with 20th Anniversary MP Prime...

Just a couple pages ago guys! The stand just happens to be in Predaking's vicinity - it doesn't come with him
It's intended for use with Rodimus Prime so the Autobot symbol makes sense.

I feel the same as Paulbot. While this reissue doesn't thrill me, I wouldn't say no to it if I didn't already have Predaking. But given a choice, I do prefer the original colours. These new colours aren't bad though, but I prefer the original colours.

I don't know if it's my imagination, but i could have sworn virtually everyone was talking like they'd buy this reissue when the rumours were rampant, but now it seems like only a few are really interested.

Tihs gold colour makes predaking look much more detailed gives it a more expensive feel to it, if that makes sense.
