Does anyone know much about them? They look cool. Do they contain die cast?

I remember these. I had Chopper and Tanker. From memory they were quite small and fiddly. No die cast just plastic.
I don't have any of them and I don't know much about them, except they were licensed from various Japanese toy lines including Macross, Orguss and Dorvack.
Essentially a cheap cash-in on the success of Transformers and Go-Bots.
Which brings us to where we are today...
I had one of the Orguss ones, they were pretty cheap and low quality compared to the Transformers of the era.
Mine eventually succumbed to age.
There were actually countless "transforming" action figure lines during the 80s. Most people only know about Transformers and GoBots - essentially because these were the only 2 toylines to have TV shows, which highlights how important it was as a marketing tool.
