Default Japan's Animated Rodimus - clear pic

I hope they find a similar shade to use on the Masterpiece - very movie-like! It's a shame not all of his grey parts look to be silver though.

Looks a bit pinkish to me.
Just doesn't look right, not many of the Takara Animated stuff does. The attempt to make the cartoon's toys shiny just doesn't work. Maybe if it was on the Movie or Classics stuff, but not Animated

I would say the flash of the camera has made it look more pink than it would in the flesh/plastic. The shiny animateds look nice in natural light but can be hard to photograph.

Heh, I was thinking the colours look very comic-like. Marvel Comic Hot Rod featured a lot more magenta over his body than his cartoon counterpart.

I'm not familiar with the comics. I just meant the difference between The Movie and Series 3 colour.

Looks a bit magenta which is how G1 hot rod was coloured in the old G1 catalogues. Either way I want to get one, sigh , he's gonna be hard to get, since he's not available through stores just like Blackout - expensive.
