If only I could read Japanese...

It was ¥ 8,799 (It set me back around about $90 one week ago). Kinda pricey but well worth it.

Here are the ISBN's. I'm sure they'll help you out when you're googling it.

Transformer Generation - Welcome to the world of Transformers!!
    ISBN 978-4789714846

    Transformer Generation Deluxe
    ISBN 978-4813010944

Agreed. This book is a must have for all G1, G2 and Machine Wars fans.

I was eyeing that one too. I managed to nab one for $50 and its stitting at the inlaws house. Amazon Japan wouldn't post it to my aussie address for some reason. If I remember correctly there was another one for 10,000yen brand new apparently.

There are quite a few non-deluxe editions kicking aorun on Yahoo auctions japan. I scoured around some jap book shop websites for a bit, but didn't have any luck there.

I dont mind helping on the translating front, but I do have slow internet and am usually a busy monkey, so it may take me a while.

Thanks Guys. I just had a really good look at it. Awesome galleries (I never knew there were so many Micromasters & Pretenders) and seemingly thousands of conceptual designs - It's basically a Picture-centric G1 encyclopedia.

But what it's really done is made me wish that the 14th of May would get here sooner = http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/798922

Can't wait to see those Victory & Zone figures in actual animation.
