I love the Joustra Diaclones, Zippo - it's my favourite type of Transformers packaging ever.

In terms of AFA in general, I disapprove of making toys even more inaccessible than leaving them in boxes, and think that anyone who pays any more for them on eBay than the usual MISB rates + grading + postage is utterly loony. That said, due to odd happenstance, I have this one:

Ooo great thread. Although I love the excitement of receiving and opening newly arrived (loose) G1's, the feeling of sifting through layers of foam peanuts and holding a super mint AFA graded encased vintage figure is incomparable

If you don't own an AFA stamped figure yet, I highly recommend having at least one in your collection. Maybe even an AFA of your all time fav character?

Eew, no way! I share Sky Shadow's sentiment about AFA toys:

If I coincidentally came across an AFA figure, unless it's a multiple I'd probably crack it open.

Only if it were a multiple... but I wouldn't pay for it. The money I'd spend on getting an AFA toy I'd rather spend on getting other toys to open up and play with.

But hey... if I had a loose Time Warrior, and someone gave me an AFA Time Warrior; sure, under those conditions I'd keep the AFA one sealed. Any volunteers?

Colours look really good on that - Is that a U before the 90? I think that indicates it was Uncirculated. What a bargin. If you ever decide to sell you'll have a few interested people here!

The Insecticlones were limited e-Hobby online exclusives and never released in stores.
