For me Masterpiece Rodimus Prime is looking OK but I'm not blown away yet. But I am liking the idea of him being able to also just be Hot Rod in car mode if you don't want to use the trailer. I guess it would be a tad bit too difficult to incorporate his trailer into the transformation like it was with Titanium Rodimus. It worked great for Titanium Rodimus but that figure had a much simpler design to a Masterpiece.

Titanium Rodimus Prime also doesn't try to achieve a show-like robot mode like MP Rodimus Convoy does.

RobotKingdom have Rodimus up for pre-order now... for $159.90 USD. That's $40 USD more than Grimlock when he was first released, christ! He is apparently to be released in January next year.

I think like MP4, the trailer is the main reason for increased cost. But i'm not phased; with the exchange rate as it is, he works out the same or less than what most paid for Grimlock on release.

On close inspection, it does seem that way.

Size comparison for those concerned:

Sems to be just a bit taller the Grimlock but the much higher head would make it seem considerably larger. This is good news and he would fit fine with MP Prime and Megatron.
