Jizaitoys have posted a rough block animation of the theoretical Rodimus to roadster transformation.

That's clever and I like the transformation sequence. Not too complex but elaborate enough to be satisfying.

Is Rodimus supposed to be as tall as Optimus though? I know the toy is probably taller, but character wise, I would be happy with Rodimus being a little shorter, after all he wasn't that graet of a leader

Yeeeah, I wouldn't put too much faith in the G1 cartoon or Marvel comic series for that matter. It's widely known that scale went right out the window with their designs
