Default Roadbuster Upgrade kit (Nato-bot) - anyone interested if it were available?

Hi everyone (not sure if this is the right place to put this in)

I've been on the hunt for the roadbuster upgrade kit (classics roadbuster) - I've searched high and low and ebay but to no avail.

So i went to plan Z ... i.e. get in touch with nato-bot (creator of the kit). Seeing as he wouldnt accept my friend request on facebook ... i switched to reaching him via TFW2005.

anyway - I asked him if he would be willing to create more kits. He responded with this ...

    "...Hmm...

... Start a petition if you wish, and we shall see."

Which brings me to the point of the thread ... is there anyone out there who is in need or hunting the roadbuster upgrade kit? I'm just trying to get numbers. He still hasnt mentioned the price. I'm assuming the initative to fire up the project again (and sell) would be continegent on how many would actually want it.

For those of you who are not familiar with it ...

I'd be more inclined to buy the original original "roadbuster" than try and drum up business for someone who doesn't seem interested in it anymore.

In fact I did a while ago, it's freaking cool. Just throwing this out as an option.

    yeah i totally agree.
what kind of BS attitude is that? dont they want our money?

    i'd say either:
    a) get the original G1
    b) or get the Mugen Calibur version and paint it up.
    c) or if you really must beg to get something reproduced, then go and get the TF crossovers captain america and then plead with 'kidbash' to re-release their roadbuster upgrade kits!!

unfortunately, my set was lost in the mail and they only produced a limited number of sets . However, kidbash are more friendlier to deal with, the kit looks way better than the nato-bot version and has better value for money IMO.

but you and i werent the only ones that didnt get the RB kits and received a refund instead. just search the TFW2005 thread... there was quite a number of other buyers too.

however, i did mention to Y/R on a few occasions that putting the store label 'Kidbash' on the parcel might attract some negative attention from say..er..customs or the police maybe??, who kinda treats the matter of 'bashing kds' quite seriously...
