But having said that, it really should've been a cheaper toy considering (even in Japan it was overpriced IMO). The price of the toy here is hideously overinflated, but it's cheaper than buying from an import store and the advantage of buying it from a shop is you can inspect the condition of the toy/packaging first hand and not worry about it being damaged in transit (or if it is it's your own damn fault ). Also if there's anything faulty with the toy it's easier for you to bring it back for a refund/exchange. But importing it would save a substantial amount of money - so there's pros and cons with either importing the toy or buying it locally.
Well looking at the receipt, it would have cost only around $130+ but with GST it brought it up to $150. Darn GST..... makes me wish now they made the rest of the Dinobots in MPs... ah well you never know, but then again I doubt it coz the other Dinobots would not be as famous as their leader is anyhow, although Swoop and Snarl would be awesome, what with all that gold chrome on Snarl . It's kinda nice in a way that MP grimy's transformation is simple coz I dont have to always look at the instructions unlike that of Megs which is quite confusing I might add. Despite the size Im enjoying the toy, which ends up in the shelves with the Generations hehehe, I really need to rearrange ( again) my collection to see if I can find more space . Need to save up too for glass shelves.....

Newly arrived over the spacebridge from the kingdom of the robots:

Great homage to Hot Rod, another nifty Animated transformation that's easy, smooth and not what I initially expect, but I am a little disappointed in the beefcake pose, the Rodimus face on a Hot Rod body, and that the silly weapon that just gets in the way IMHO.
