Default Review - Transformers Generation Cybertronian Soundwave

Review - Transformers Generation Cybertronian Soundwave

    Series - Transformers Generation

    Size - Deluxe

    New/remould/redeco - New

    Wave - Wave 2

    Released here - Unknown

Approximate Retail Price - Still unknown... $22US

    Approximate Size - Approx. 16 cm / 140 mm

    Allegiance - Decepticon

    Alt-mode - Cybertronian Vehicle

    Main Features/Gimmicks:

Main Colours - Blue, Silver and Gray

Main Accessories - Soundwave's trademark shoulder canon and gun

My Difficulty rating (out of 5) - 2

Stability - A very sturdy and well sculpted mode and a very detailed excellent representation from WFC game character.

Poseability/articulation - Excellent posability and articulation

    Playability - Very durable

My Thoughts - A quite impressive toy; robotmode is A+ for me, great representation of a Cybertronian mode of Soundwave, fits straight right in with my Classics/Henkeis collection

Overall Recommendation Rating (out of 10) - 10 since im bias and in love with soundwave a must buy!

Nice photos as always Optics. Was already sold on this guy and mine should be arriving next week

Yeah, can't wait to get a hold of mine. I might end up getting two as well if Hasbro end up pulling their finger out and releasing him locally. The US just got wave 2 and 3 released simultaneously so we have officially fallen behind Seems to me that they just want to drive their customers online... *cough* Animated Arcee *cough*

First 'must get' from the WFC line of toys for me and very much looking forward to displaying him as 'Classics' Soundwave in my collection.

i do NOT Play with toys...

But I DO occasionally do scale model assisted simulations in physical fight dynamics.

This is one nice figure and another winner in the WfC series. I was surprised how much articulation this figure has on the arms and legs, except there's no waist articulation. I like that both his weapons can be stored in his chest/windscreen and can be taken out of either mode easily and mounted on either mode too. Conversion was simpler than Bumblebee and Prime but still a lot of fun. Kinda like folding a sock inwards.

The alt mode is tinier than I expected and not nowhere near as boring as pics made it look to be. Now for that 3rd "classic alt mode".

Best new mould of 2010 for me. It was a joy playing as and against Soundwave in WFC, and to own the toy is a real thrill. For extra quick Autobot destruction, point his front spikes up and attach his two accessories backwards for an ultra turbo boost. Then let the limbs flail.
