Such mixed feedback! I personally loved it, but I think as a musician it's easier to enjoy a song for what it is rather than where it came from or what it is representing. Like VS13 said, if we were all hearing this for the first time, I think the negative feedback would be reduced, but many are overshadowing the song with an unfair expectation of being as good as the original without being exactly the same. It is a remake, not a cover version.

Please have a listen to my songs. Feel free to comment if you wish, any constructive feedback is appreciated =o)

I can understand why people enjoyed it, personally I didn't.

Nah he shouldn't have tampered with a classic. The original "The touch" was an 80's masterpiece and will forever be remembered in the books of history as one of the greatest movie themes of all time. You all remember how awesome the music video clip was...with Stans crazy long hair waving back and forth.

I reckon it would be gold if Bay used the original song in the final credits. Twood be a hit with the fans!

Yea, it's more a ballard than something inspirational and rememberable like the original was, especially since I feel nothing for the characters shown in the clips during the song.

Yeah It's not terrible but it's a little bland.

Where's the corn? needs to be cornier like the end of TF War for Cybertron song.
