Howdy friends

since i have been missing for some time, and i cbf trawling through lots of threads, and you are all nice people , i require some information (cash payment, no questions asked )

1. Which to get 1st - Takara or Hasbro MP Grimlock?
2. Which to get 1st - Takara or Hasbro MP Skywarp?
3. MP Thundercracker, is he hard to find, or has my quick searching failed me?
4. is the botcon seacon set worth getting?
5. are there any other "must have" toys out that i should consider?
6. Who else here plays sc2? Seriously the best game going around atm :P


Id also like to get an idea of the cost of the above, i assume robotkindom is still competitively priced? if not, who?

The differences between the HAS & TakTOM MP Grimmy are minor at best, get what ever is cheaper, but definitely get one, its fantastic!

Get Hasbro MP Skywarp, its cheap and doesn't need any stickers. Looks better IMO, check him at toyworld.

I got my MP Cracker from a local store, so I'm not sure about its rarity.

Seacons are very worth it.

ROTF Leader Starscream is meant to be tops.

I don't like RTS games so I don't play it

Go RK for seacons and pretty much anything, they are still the best.

1. Which to get 1st - Takara or Hasbro MP Grimlock?

If you're a fan of the G1 cartoon, get TOMY. If you're a fan of the G1 comics, get Hasbro. TOMY MP Grimlock retails for 13650JPY ($175) and Hasbro's sells here for $150 (though apparently you can get it cheaper from Robotkingdom). If you're a fan of Nel Yomtov then get the TOMY King Grimlock.

2. Which to get 1st - Takara or Hasbro MP Skywarp?

Ooer... they're both pretty nice. The TOMY version has cartoon-like red eyes and more detailed coloured feet, but the Hasbro one has toy-accurate yellow eyes and more G1-accurate purples and decos. Check out online pics or IRL if you can meet up with other Melbournian fans who own these toys and decide for yourself.

3. MP Thundercracker, is he hard to find, or has my quick searching failed me?

No idea sorry.

4. is the botcon seacon set worth getting?

IMO - no. Their colours look horrid.

5. are there any other "must have" toys out that i should consider?

Time Warrior.

Nope. Only PC game I'm currently playing is War For Cybertron. I used to be a big fan of the original Starcraft when I was a youngin', but these days I don't have the time/inclination to game much.
