Oh yeah, I agree. Wreck-Gar looks cool but the head hmmm doesn't do it for me. I wish it was less human looking and more robot looking, like in the cartoon/movie. A cheesy face on a robot always seems to put me off.

Is that really a common archetype? Or is just Walky using his comic strip to have a veiled dig at someone?

"So Hasbro's evil because they're putting thieves out of business by making product of something they own." <---LOL!

Yeah, how dare Hasbro give fans what they want.

Thought so. Yeah, the post he's singling out is indeed ridiculous. And based on the responses, it's clearly not an archetype, but rather just one foolish poster.

Yeah the stance that TFW guy has taken is silly. Hasbro has every right to make that toy, it's their character. If it prevents FansProjects from releasing their Collector figure or cuts into sales numbers then they should have taken the possibility of a Hasbro release into account.

However I am sure that both toys will have considerably different styles to them so if Collector gets released, it may still sell to those who like the more robotic sculpt style better than the more 'organic' Hasbro one.

I am personally not sure if I will go for Collector, possibly not as it all depends on price. I like third party manufactures because they offer something that Hasbro does not, that's not the case here even if Collector was announced years ago.
