    Default Animated Toy Sightings!

Yay first to find them! I went into my local comic book store, Titans Tower in Southport, and was astounded to see a case of the new Transformers Animated line voyager class. I picked up Starscream, leaving two Megatrons and a Bulkhead. Unfortunately no deluxes yet, but I suspect it won't be long before we see these in widespread release.

Starscream is very, very cool. I have him posed on my desk as I write, and he's far more stable standing than previous incarnations. The glowing eyes look cool, and his "Jay Leno" chin is growing on me.

How much were they? I wonder if these have been locally distributed by Hasbro Australia or if, as a specialist store, they ordered them in directly from overseas as imports.

I heard the ones released in Cincinnatti, Ohio were a shipment that got opened up early by mistake. So did Titans Tower receive a shipment mistake too?

i would believe they are imports or the store must have bought them off ebay and sold them at a higher profitable price

And i think that's the most feasible explanation. No way known that they could get it easier. It's been astounding the number of Animated Deluxes and Voyagers that are available on eBay. I'm so tempted every time I see one and 'tis pretty frequent these days.

Titan's Tower, and any other single store retailer, don't get their stock from Hasbro Australia. Hasbro will only deal with national retail chains. Titans Tower would have had to have imported these themselves, but am unsure how they would have got a whole case though. Individual figures from asian sources are quite common, but a whole case is odd, if true.
What were the prices? That would give us an idea of the source.

Better get a surgeon to look at that before it gets too big!
