Yeah, I agree. Was just repeating what some others had criticized about the bulkiness not fitting in with real-world physics. I don't tend to criticize tfs that deep- I can suspend my disbelief in this fantasy world enough to not mind. But the head sculpt is still my major criticism in terms of portraying the character.

Just got Blurr and i have to say i am not impressed with the paint job. Quality control is out the window especially on the hood.

    Otherwise not a bad toy.

I think we can all agree with the overall poor QC on the paint job. Thankfully it doesn't seem to affect the robot mode too much.

Yep, even mine. And that's why he will stay in robot mode. Looks better as the robot.

Would this be considered as more acceptable by those who want an 'athletic Blurr'? :P

That's not half bad. Looks pretty good actually.

Fixes my only issue with the use of the mold as Blurr - the massive lower legs
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

Does he have a proper altmode?

I feel that if there isn't one already planned- that a third party co should make pieces that attach on to the limbs/torso and a replacement head that make this fig much sleeker and closer to the idw version.

Unfortunately he can't transform as much of the car 'shell' is removed. We can always twist the base robot into an 'alt mode' 1988 Pretender style but it wouldn't be Blurr.

However the 3rd party idea is sound as the car parts are just a shell which screw onto the limbs. There aren't many pieces of it too so a third party could easily create 'G1' vehicle pieces to attach that could come together into a 'Cybertronian Blurr' alt mode.

Better, but I still can't get past the caricatured head.
