Do you have a dedicated video card? If you've swapped in a new mobo with onboard graphics, plug in your monitor to that first as it would be the default output. If not, need more info on your setup.

Anyone tried writing return to sender, undeliverable, not at this address to international mail? Would that work?

I'm contemplating putting these overseas mail in the recycling bin.

At what point did Stephen King novels stop being made into mainstream (i.e general release) movies?

I reckon the last one was Misery. It was about then that I felt he started writing about writing (his next book was The Dark Half) and he lost me.

I don't think they've stopped. Misery (1987) is an old one, as is The Dark Half (1989) - there's been many movie adaptations since then and still more to come. Here's a list you can check out. There's also a steady stream of new books recently published and in the works. Bibliography link.

I used to read a lot of his books; my most favorite is and always will be Christine.

I thinks some of them are getting too expensive CG wise.

Under the dome is getting made into a miniseries, pilot is being filmed sometime this autumn (american spring)

Geez the last movie I've seen on that list is The Lawnmower Man (which had bugger all to do with the original short story). I had heard of Green Mile and Shawshank; neglected to mention in my original post I was referring to the horror/sci fi stuff.

Took a risk and bought the 24" bauhn tv from aldi [sat 12 jan 2013]
still getting used to the difference in aspect ratio and the dullness in the colour...

the problem is that the tv will not pick up any digital channels...at all. Admittedly the old tv never really picked up a decent free to air analogue picture but it was 15 years old.

and yes i plugged the rf cable in to the right socket : )

if you would be so kind,
what do i need to check,
    what are my options
as i would like to pick up the digital channels

the tv is set up through a non digital austar box

    thankyou
    M
