Default 1990 Australian Transformers competition form

Sharky recently acquired a poster for a Transformers competition in 1990.

It inspired me to dig the entry form out from my archives.

1990 competition uploaded by Paubot, on Flickr

Did anybody here recall entering this competition? Did anybody win?

Interestingly the competition entry form says the "Autobot Rocket Base" is an "Exclusive collectors item" and the poster says it's "The Only Autobot Rocket Base in Australia".

Does anybody remember seeing or buying Countdown on sale in a local store?

(Note: I tried posting this in the Time-Capsule section but wasn't allowed... happy for a moderator to move there)

I had the form... I don't remember if I entered it. I've argued before that there were several more G1 toys Australia didn't get than the usual handful cited. Countdown is one that I didn't believe we got, but there's always someone who 'remembers' seeing just about everything and it's hard to disprove that toys didn't show up in ultra-limited release.

I remember seeing that competition and I think I may have entered it. I definitely didn't win anything though.

Wow, that takes me back. I remember seeing the form but can't recall if I entered it.

I never entered this competition, but I did enter a Transformers art competition in 1986, run by a newspaper. And I won Battletrap!

It was an A4 sheet. Here's a bigger version if people want to download it and colour it in
