Optimus Prime in new Super Robot Wars for PS3

Found this whilst cruising. Interesting.

Sadly it appeas to be movie Optimus rather than G1 or another type.

For those not in the know, Super Robot Wars (aka Super robot Taisen) is a turns based strategy game that usually jams a bunch of robots from different series together in a single story. Personally I quite like it.

There have been a couple for PS1 in english, I don't think any came out for PS2 (english). Good seires and I have been waiting for news of a PS3 version.

Gah! Super Robot Wars also originated from the 1980s (originally came out on Nintendo 8-bit Famicom (JP equivalent of NES)) -- always disappointed that Transformers was never in it. Oh well... I don't have a PS3 anyway so I guess it's a moot issue for me. Damnit... I have no idea where my old Famicom is... (I suspect it got chucked out (-_-))

I love my SRW series. Have everything released since SRW Alpha for the PS, PS2, GBA and DS. Sometimes there are series in it that disappoint me but you can't get everything you want.

Wished more Yuushya series stuff popped up in them. If GaoGaiGar could, why not the others?

Weel, he aint innit, and they could choose a better Prime I reckon. One wit a trailer for a start would alloow for some cool attacks.

I guess we could move this somewhere else now it aint really TF news anymore...
