If she is that infatuated with you, she will talk about anything with you even if she has no interest in it. I have seen it before, they 'adapt' to your likes and dislikes but do not personally share them they just pretend. These sort of relationships usually end up the worse so its best just not to engage her in any sort of conversation at all. Just provide a brief but definite response that you are not interested and that's it.

The sales guy at work is like that. Barely even human. Just tries to find common ground with anyone he talks to and if you mention anything at all he will have a story about it.

I just treat him with absolute utter contempt and he keeps crying to the big boss about it. If he had more testicular fortitude to actually confront me on why I harbour such negativity about him I might actually show more respect.
