Default The Last Starfighter Arcade Game

I think this deserves it's own thread lol.

Going back on the retro, The Last Starfighter arcade game. http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/last_starfighter.php It is the arcade version of the game in the movie, complete with sounds and music that you see in the movie. I downloaded it last night and it blew my my mind lol. It is bloody difficult though I must warn.

There is no "How To Play" details that I could find, so I will post what I found to play.

"5" to insert coins to play
    "Spacebar" to Fire/Play
    "Arrow Keys" move cockpit arround
"Mouse" move reticle to target enemies
"Left Click" fires (much easier to use in game)
"Right Click" change to photon blasts (I think that was what it was called)

There is another thing that changes your main lasers to another type of lasers, but I can't remember how I did it, so if anyone figures it out, let me know.

Post any of your top scores, and see if you can beat the game, I got as far as the part where you gotta shoot the asteroids.

I watched it recently after a good number of years, despite the cheesy storyline it's surprisingly good and entertaining. Probably because it's got some heart and is not as dried up of spirit as most modern Sci-Fi films.

I love that movie! The graphics are a bit dated now but it's still watchable.
Flight of the Navigator is great too.

    Ah, that's a classic film.
