Pre-ordered mine a couple of weeks back. I hope it is more detailed than Transformers: The Ultimate Guide.

I'd expect it to be less detailed than that book if the similar style Vault books (like the Wolverine one) and the description"Five visually driven chapters" are anything to go by. Pretty pictures only, but $27 from Book depository is a nice price.

The cover art looks pretty, but it's only 160 pages?

Surely for something that's meant to be the "a comprehensive history of the transformers", it would require more than 160 pages?

If it is G1 or other series based I am very interested, but if it is Bat movie based, do not want to touch it with a 10 foot pole.

A friend of mine has the Star Wars Vault and it's pretty awesome. I hope this is just as good.

The Ultimate Guide has less. Granted, it was published over 5 years ago.

This sounds interesting but I would need to see some in depth review of it before I decide.

I already have the Ultimate Guide and although it is outdated by now, it is still not worth buying another unless it is much more in depth.
