I have Barricade from the first movie and these Mechtech gimmicks do nothing for me so it's an easy pass.

From what I have heard / read it appears to be a different mold from the first Barricade toy. Until we see bot mode pics I guess we won't know for sure.
On a side note, Barricade was my fav character from the first movie so it's great to see that he's back in it
