Oh yeah, i did see Armada & Energon comics - but I didn't really pay any attention to them.

I know what you mean; As soon as you step inside the front door - you're already standing face to face with the guy behind the counter. While the guy upstairs seems like he's been sleeping underneath the same rock.

    Cool

    7. Dymocks George Street City Store.

    http://www.dymocks.com.au/StoreLocat...Store=GeorgeSt

Lower Ground Floor, 424 George Street (near Myer, Sydney Central Plaza).

Dymocks in George Street city store have a nice science fiction/graphic novel section which stocks (besides books) action figures and statues from comics and transformers.

They stock Hasbro stuff like the movie line, Alternators, Hard Hero statues, Takara reissues and encore series. Be forewarned, the prices aren't cheap e.g. Reissue Galvatron = $200.00, Alternator Rodimus over $100.

Took some pictures on my camera phone of the stock on the shelves.

Purpose: An ongoing list of Sydney shops that potentially (i.e. could, but may not) stock TF figures and TF merchandise (e.g. comic books, t-shirts, statues, etc.).

Shops which I think most people will know about (e.g. Myer, David Jones, Target, K-Mart, Toys 'R' Us, etc.) will not be mentioned since there probably isn't much point as toy sightings threads will usually mention them.

The idea is that people who have information can contribute, and if necessary, update and/or correct information that already exists.

I'll start by adding a bit.

    1. HobbyCo - may stock TFs
    http://www.hobbyco.com.au/
    - QVB, 421-481 George St
    - Shop 60 IKEA Level
    Rhodes Waterside Shopping Centre
    1 Rider Boulevarde
    Rhodes NSW 2138
    - Shop C027 Level1 (Adjacent to Dick Smith Powerhouse)
    Macarhur Square Shoping Centre
    Gilchrist Drive
    Campbelltown NSW 2560

    2. Kinokuniya - may stock TF DVDs, comics, books (Japanese section), TFs (Binaltech), and statues
    http://bookweb.kinokuniya.co.jp/indexohb.cgi?AREA=06
    - Level 2
    The Galeries Victoria
    500 George Street
    Sydney 2000
    NSW

    3. Modeller's World (website known as Astro Hobby, after the name of their now-closed Town Hall branch store) - may stock TFs

    - Shop G9 City Mark Building
    683 -689 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000

    4. Game Infinity - may stock TFs (Binaltechs and other)

    Note: stock may be expensive

    http://www.marketcity.com.au/stores/...meinfinity.amx
    - Level 1
    Market City
    Haymarket (located above Paddy's)

    5. Comic Kingdom - may stock TF comics

Note: usually has a selection of past issues of TF comics (even IDW and Dreamwave titles)

    http://www.comickingdom.com.au/
    - 71 Liverpool Street
    Sydney NSW 2000

    6. King's Comics - may stock TF comics and/or statues
    http://www.kingscomics.com.au/catalog/

Note: usually has a selection of past IDW titles, but stock is limited compared with Comic Kingdom's.
    - 310 Pitt Street
    Sydney
    NSW 2000
I was in Hobby Co today and I found TF's in there like Jetfire $99.00 plus a few animated in there as well

    So, going through this thread.
Any new stores either in the CBD or out in the suburbs? ANy on the list that have closed or are not a source of Transformer stuff anymore.

Dymocks maybe, but I could be wrong. Some may have closed down or moved but I don't personally know. All I know is, most are not cheap (for tf figures). Some may have good deals on non-tf items though...
