Capo toys Street Fighter kickstarter
Hi I was wondering if many know about the Capo Toys Street Fighter Kickstarter. There is like a massive target to reach so that they can make a first wave of figures, including Sagat, Ryu, Guile, Chun Li and Blanka. There is also a kickstarter exclusive Ken with blue outfit. I thought I should post it just in case anyone is interested in these, and the project looks to need heaps of funding. The more people who are aware of it will help, but it has a long way to go.

I'm interested in these, I think the sculpting is impressive

I love the sculpts and would love to support this but there hasn't been a complete SF series of toys made. SOTA failed to complete at least Super Street Fighter, Playarts Kai is picking only popular characters (within reason) and the company that started SF IV never really got passed the 2nd wave if I remember correctly.

Good sculpts, but not a fan of that articulation, and at over half a million dollars I wish him luck!

not a fan of their sculpts! here's hoping that play arts finally do make dictator, Sagat, Claw, and Boxer.

They're ok figures, not my cup of tea. I can't see it happening with having to raise 11 & 1/2 grand each day until deadline.

I find alot of those Chun Li statues awkward
The Kotobukiya statue line isn't bad, shame they only represent the female characters, but I guess that's the point of the line
I have Chun Li, I think its has a great action pose and is a great looking figure overall.
On the subject of the Capo Street Fighter toys , I have checked out several message boards, and the opinions vary, some dislike, some like. This is the Norm for most things I guess, but the thing that sticks out the most is there is not much optimism. The Kickstarter is most likely impossible to reach the target with backers alone, but if it is at least halfway, maybe the company may attract a partner to fund the rest of the project. I don't think that's going to happen unless there is enough support by backers initially. Just my thoughts.
The Capo toys sculpts appeal to me, because the faces look good, and overall the bodies look accurate. The articulation I'm not sure about it , I have yet to see any poses. I suppose it will be pointless if they can't be posed with kicks and punches.
Neca did have a Street Fighter line but I couldn't like the faces, they just didn't seem right. If play arts do some more characters great! Bring on Bison, Vega, Balrog, Sagat ! but some of the previous releases do have some flaws which I can't overlook.

The sculpts look pretty nice, but I think they need to slap some better joints in the elbows. Looks like they can't get more than 90 degrees outta them. I'd like to see double jointed elbows and knees at least.

They've only managed a tad over 13K & they still need 17k per day until the deadline (31 days)

Looking over the figures once more. While I like Ryu and the Blanka the most out of these. I like Sagat, but I think he has been made far to tall. Since playing street fighter 4 I noticed he is not that big! Head sculpt is nice.
For me ultimately because the Aus dollar is dropping, these figures were going to become to expensive. So rationally I crossed these off my list
