Vehicle Modes (or is it Vehicles Mode?)

Instantly recognisable as G1 Flywheels on both the tank and jet. The tank is kinda hollow on the back of the turret, but that personally doesn't bother me. This toy really carries over the spirit of TR/LG Overlord, but at a smaller/cheaper Deluxe scale. Both modes are chock full of nicely sculpted detail. Now I'm not a fan of the try hard "battle damage" decoes that they're putting on these toys, but here it's not so bad and kinda works (although I would still prefer just a straight up clean look). I guess because it's only on the sides of the tank and not weirdly splattered through random parts of the toy.

    Robot Mode

Surprisingly really solid. The only hollow part are the forearms for the fists to fold into, but other than that it's a reasonably solid toy. This toy is brimming with detail throughout the sculpting, the colours and paint ops work well and it boasts 15 points of articulation. The guns can be held individually or combined into one really long rifle.

    Overall

This toy exceeds my expectations and just blows Power of the Primes Battletrap right out of the water. Not that Battletrap is a bad toy per se, but HasTak have clearly learnt lessons from that toy and really improved on it. And to be fair, Battletrap does have 2 individual robot modes which Skytread has sacrificed. As mentioned before, this toy really feels like a smaller/cheaper version of Overlord! Highly recommended.

And yeah, I'll be posting a comparison pic with G1 Flywheels later. Feel free to post your own in the meantime.
