Potential revolutionary method of repairing old toys - Baking Soda
We all know that super glue sucks on anything that requires pressure or movement. It's just not very 'super'. However adding Baking Soda as a catalyst method previously used by Musicians to repair instruments looks very promising. It not only helps complete broken hinges but also helps with cracked surface plastic for an nearly immaculate finish:

I will give it a go when the inevitable opportunity arises. Old G1 toys are showing a lot of age. Even non-GPS toy plastic is becoming to rigid and inflexible almost guaranteeing breakage if transformed or moved.
