Splendid! I especially like how you painted the wings (like his face) giving more credit on the details which makes it more noticeable now. Well done!

Firstly, thanks guys for the +ve comments
I've actually finally gone back to these - of course - taking in feedback already given
Specifically, this morning I was sitting at my table trying to mix ... purple!
With the first two pics - the left (facing us) has been purple-ised - and th e right has not - is still the gunmetal (Kup, this is what I'd used for the darker 'silver') I had originally used.
Here my less-painted cyclonus got the purple treatment first! Heckuva lot better IMO - thanks for the idea LordZed!!!
And a bit later:
Cyclonus - and his Armada~~~
(I've since painted the heck out of those two - (extra paint aps) including painting the helmets completely in my purple concoction - including the bits on the inside of the helmet - next to the face) with the purple)
Uhm - also admittedly the purple isn't spot on - to the plastic -
Why? cause I added gunmetal into the concoction - partly cause it's dark - and partly cause I actually wanted some SHINE to it - it's working out nicely IMO!
Tomorrow I'll have pix with a better camera Thanks guys
Nice shots! It really shows off the light piping well.
