Movie single disc edition now out?

Found the single disc edition of the movie at a Sanity store yesterday, and it was the first time I had seen it in stores. I think they must have just released it recently, as it it almost impossible to find any version of the Movie in stores now.
It is just the movie with a single commentary track to it. The cover/jacket is rather boring, with little on the movie itself other than a Radio Host comment on the plot (as the only plot info on the jacket) and very little imagery from the movie on the jacket. The front is the Optimus face on white background, similar to the EzyDVD tin case front.
Sanity's price was $20, (it was also in their 3 for $40 section), so expect other stores to have it for $20 or less as well.

My local Target had these for $14.99 last week. Do you think it's just the 1st disc of the previous 2-disc sets?

Looks like it. On the 2-disc edition, the commentary was the only extra feature listed on disc one. Everything else was on disc two.

Did it Have a Optimus or Megatron Mask with it...?
As apparently America are getting a re-release of the dvd versions
with the choices of

1 disc version with Optimus Prime or Megatron Mask
(Bumblebee Walmart Exclusive)

2 disc version w/Megatron transforming case

They are also supposed to be released on the same day as the Blu-ray version.....?

The Aussie single disc is different from the upcoming new release, has no mask and has been around for more than a month now. Hopefully we'll also get these versions with masks/transforming Megatron case after the Americans do.

I'm sure we'll get the Blu-ray version down the track, but no idea about the release date yet. Probably within a month after the American release?

I don't see any point in me buying another Dvd version, "Unless" it just to get just for the Dvd cover?

"This is as long it fits, as that Dvd cover from the EzyDVD collectors tin version is not that impressive and that o-ring really irritates me every time i have to slide it back on ....."

Odd, the single disk movie was available in NZ on release day back in ... November?

Only one you can find now, the steel case version (single disk), steel case (two disk), two disk and transforming two disk are all long gone.
