Sorry if this sounds like a noob question,
this is really weird.
last week, i removed the AR's from my rapid fire as-20 but when i assembled everything back, it did not fire at all.
then when put the AR's back in and everything works fine again....
(AR's were not permanently fixed and could be removed without using any force or modification - looks similar to this picture that someone else posted)
can anyone help to explain/clarify?
thanks

I don't know much about mod. But I knew other gun having similar problem sometimes, removing AR didn't work. I am about to try my first mod next week on recon.
BTW,
www.fishpond.com.au is selling recon for 26AUD, which is nearly half of the TRU retail price.
I also saw kmart selling vulcan.![]()
recons a great gun to mod.
took me 10 min max to disassemble, drill out the AR and put back together :P
add a raider clip and its a destructive force
yeah not having a drill will do that to you
i think i got my raider over 6 months ago, so i doubt finding it will be easy, but the mid year toy sales may net good results.
i cant wait for the sales, need me a longshot, then all i need to do is mod it too and buy myself some better foam and some BB's so i can make better darts XD
So you just drilled out the A.R isntead of cutting the tube in half? The mod I read on some website instructed to either cut the tube at the middle with a pipe cutter or use 'boiling water' technique.
with the recon mod, did you pad the plunger? I heard if not, it cracks easily.
As for Raider, I bought it last weekend in Melbourne, Highpoint TRU.
