iirc they did the same thing with Death's Head too, so that's also a character owned by Marvel.

what are you really saying? That you have an Injector in Aquasting packaing?

Course it would be worth more, like anything else packaged wrongly. Many people will tell you that they are not worth more, but they are wrong.

Actually incorrectly packaged items aren't really worth that more. Artificial inflation of the value of things by people *thinking* it should be worth more. What he's asking about is a toy in pre-production packaging, which would be worth more.

But I am unaware of how far into the design and pre-production stage did the name Aquasting last before they renamed the toy Injector. If Hasbro ditched it while the toy was still at concept stage or the back-and-forth design stage between Hasbro and Takara, the name probably wouldn't have been printed on anything yet.

I don't get it. How come her origins are told within TF Marvel US as an important subplot? There doesn't seem to be any space of time for her to make her first appearance anywhere else from the hospital to her first appearance as circuit braker.

As FFN said Circuit Breaker appeared in Secret Wars II briefly before appearing in Transformers - and it was in Transformers where her origin was explained. Her appearance in the Secret Wars was just so that Marvel could secure the rights to that character. Marvel UK did the same thing with Death's Head - he appeared briefly in some non-TF comic strip just so that Marvel could claim ownership of the character before inserting him into the Transformers comic as he was always intended to be.

Both characters are intended to be for the Transformers universe and were created as such, but Marvel had them debut in other non-TF titles just so that they could claim ownership over those characters.

Ok I have a question. What is the likelihood of an Encore Shockwave? Who owns the mould and will it see the light of day?
The reason I ask is I'm deciding whether or not to part with my G1 shocky.

I'd say hang onto it until you have an Encore Shockwave in your hands (or at very least until TakaraTOMY announces it). Even if they own the mould it may not mean that they'll reissue it. After all we know that Takara have the Eject/Rewind mould yet they've never reissued either of them! Gah!
