I pulled his head off the first time, second time it clicked in pretty easily though -- will have to try this and the neck extension next time.

It may sound silly, but keep in mind I can't read Japenese, but I was so disappointed when mine arrived, and the gun wouldn't light up like in all the YouTube reviews.
