I like video games, DOOM is a new-ish video game and I like it.

I still haven't played DOOM yet. Bought it for PC, PC is too crap to run it. Gave up, gonna buy it on PS4 soon after I finish other games I have lol

I recently played Journey. What a pleasent, seamless, and tension-building experience. This is the game i will try and persuade my wife to play.

I had the pleasure of playing that once as well. Managed to finish it very quickly though, you know why?

because some random dude joined my game and showed me the way. Kind of annoyed that on my second play I finished it, but that is what the game is all about.

At first I was like,
Waitasec, is that an NPC?
-Looking, watching. Maybe, they're signalling me. Oh Okay. Let's go check it out.

Ended up being just some dude and we finsihed the game. Didn't take long, but wow. It was a cool adventure.

I also recomend That Game Company's other game "Flower" It's such an odd concept, but such an awesome chill game!

Did you not watch the videos? The visuals are a downgrade in many respects as only some assets have been upgraded, some stayed the same and many are flat out worse and the frame rate is just garbage. Why anyone puts up with anything below a constant 60fps in this day and age is beyond me. It's just a stupid cash grab.

Yeah I just watched the first vid - all seems fine to me.

I grew up playing an Atari2600 - I'm not gonna complain about slightly different texture shading on Penguins scars - it all looks cool!

Same. I watched half of the first video. The only thing that I would be upset about is the frame rate. It's horrible. The rest is neither here nor there.

There's been a couple of releases that have made me wonder: do I need to get a New3Ds to replace my 3DsXL... but now with this hardware would I / should I bother? Mostly I'm going to wait and see.

I'm still trying to find the best deal for a PS4. JB had a cheap price on the old model 1TB version, but it wasn't much more to get the newest version.

But I looked at my playing habits and my PS3 has primarily been a Netflix machine this whole year to date. If I buy a PS4 I'll get Tomb Raider (the main reason I want the machine) and will be able to play a few games I got when they were cheap (London Assassin's Creed, latest Batman Arkham game and the TF Devastation game) and there's other games I'd like (Uncharted 4, Doom, Street Fighter V, South Park 2, FF15).

So game content-wise I'm happy there's a critical mass, but I just find I don't sit and play video games that often anymore that aren't hand-held.

I nabbed the 1TB ps4 slim with all 4 uncharted gamnes for 499 back when Target had that deal (2 weeks ago)

I'm pretty sure there'll be similar deals incoming what with xmas coming up.

Finally finished Batman Arkham Knight (only got a PS4 in July!). Don't have the time or patience to get all the Riddler trophies to get the bonus ending so may have to find it online.

Got Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 to not play until after report writing, then get as much of it and Tomb Raider finished before Pokemon Sun and Moon come out.

How I miss my younger years where summer was spent between watching/playing cricket and games all summer long!
