Picked up MP Thunderboy today. Its the same as the other MP Seekers however his paint his beautiful, maybe a tad dark, but still very nice.

Remember that the original Thundercracker had fairly dark blue - and that dark blue was also recreated in the G1 comics. It was only the G1 cartoon which introduced a light sky blue for Thundercracker - which is what Robot Masters Thundercracker has.

Generally HasTak seems concerned with creating a "middle" blue - not as dark as the original toy/comic model and not as light as a cartoon model... I believe it's to appease both fans of the original toy and comics as well as fans of the cartoon.

Classics (Timelines) and Henkei Thundercracker feature a relatively more "middle" blue that is neither too dark or light, although Henkei Thundercracker is lighter than Classics Thundercracker. Here are some piccies for comparison:
G1 Thundercracker toy - dark blue
G1 comic Thundercracker - dark blue
G1 cartoon Thundercracker - light blue
Robot Masters Thundercracker - light blue
Classics Thundercracker - middle blue

I know I haven't actually acquired it yet but I was beginning to become more than a little concerned about a package coming from the US. It had been nearly 3 weeks since I paid for it & still the package hadn't shown up. So this arvo I emailed the seller about it. Compounding my concerns was some recent neutral/negative feedback he'd received...

Well, to my suprise, He replied to my query quick-smart letting me know that for some reason he'd had the package returned to him (customs issues) & that he'd resent it yesterday (along with a tracking number) .

It's things like this that do a great deal towards restoring your confidence & trust in people .

Well I acquired my Henkei Ramjet from Iceburn last night and I must attest, I am singularly unimpressed. This is definitely not a case of Takara>Hasbro.
-Loose limbs
-Barely adequate paintjob
-Crappy colour scheme
I knew that when this guy arrived only one would be able to keep the name Ramjet as it would be unbefitting the complex laws of the Diggerverse to have two beings in the same continuity/shelfspace with the same name.
I hereby dub Henkei Ramjet...

Henkei Ramjet's colours do look more show-like... although I don't know why the fingers are white. Either way, I don't see why you would want to have two Ramjets - definitely try to sell one. I still have to sell my Classics Astrotrain - any takers?
