I actually don't mind the new album, its pretty good imo.
Don't really want to make another thread for it but yeah sifun what did you reckon?

Oh god I loved Nas (more of a Nas fan then a Kanye one so his appearance was ace), dropping tracks from Illmatic just got my pumped, I just lost it, it was just ace! And Black President (from Untitled) was the icing on the cake.

Kanye just blew the stage away. Those light shows were intense. I absolutely loved it when he almost (?) got hit with a glow stick (or something) half way through a song (forgot which one) and he just stops and starts free styling at the culprit saying how he almost ruined it for everyone and that he should "eat shit and die" and got us the crowd to chant that with him. That was just ace.

When he came back with Jesus Walks and Stronger that was just bloody awesome. I reckon he should have wrapped the concert up with those two songs instead of performing Heartless and Love Lockdown for the finale. I mean wow when he did those two 808s & Heartbreak songs, they just felt like they went forever, Kanye also started to "vent" and all in all it wasn't quite the "high" to finish the night on.

Favourite songs for the evening; Touch the Sky, Good Life, Flashing Lights and Stronger.

ooooh nice one Kyle! Daimos is the 2nd most famous of the Great robots in Phils. First is Voltes V. Is it diecast? Does the little car stay in when you transform and split the legs? Any weapons aside from the blades? In the series he's got tons of martial arts equipment.

hehehe It looked from the pics that Starscream is a little dumbstruck in awe watching Daimos transform.

    DOUBLE BLIZZAAAARDD!!!
Righto Liege, I was too a fan of Daimos though I like Voltes V much better.
I reckon KK has collections of these two robots..

Kyle, what about those arms?.. just wondering if are they detachable coz I saw it from another pic that it's coming off from his legs...

Before, I admire the truck mode more than the robot form...
But with this new Daimos, the bot mode is totally radical!!!

Daimos (and Gold Lightan) were my two childhood dream toys. I finally bought Gold Lightan, both the reissue of the original, and Bandai's new SOC (Soul of Chogokin) version when I visited HK in Janurary.

This new Daimos toy is also from the SOC line and has plenty of diecast. The little car stays in when you transform - the car compartment hides nicely inside the left foot. He comes with ALL weapons (including the later upgrades in the toon). They can all be stored/displayed on a big weapon stand included. (Will post some pics of them later.)

I would love to get modern SOC versions of both Combattler V and Voltes V too, to complete the trio. Given my current financial status I would probably do it towards the end of next year.

Better Daimos pics (not taken by me) can be found here:

The arms aren't actually detachable, they are still connected and linked by panels when you swing them down to the legs. The small robot head and big truck cab take turns hiding inside the body between the two modes.

I think he dragged his songs for WAY too long. Especially for love lockdown, that took like half an hour just for that one song. I would have rather him go through more songs then do his crappy freestyle "I'm talking through song" dragging the same song for like an extra 10 minutes each.

Other than that, i loved the intense light show-
My favourite song would've been Through the wire and more of his older album stuff.

Overall, it wasn't very professional I felt, his ego has overgrown his performance and he's real lazy now.
I felt Nas and Scribe did a better job.
