Ah seeing Dungeon again after nearly 9 years. So much nostalgia. Ok so it wasn't Dungeon. LORD did a special Dungeon only set last night and it was epic, and well worth the no sleep again for work today. Was great hearing the classic songs again.

Other notable mentions from the night, In Malice's Wake was as brutal as I remember them. Taberah were surprisingly good. Darker Half have really come a long way since I first saw them around 9 years ago.

Certainly sounds like it was a heavy nostalgia trip dude! - I guess you ran into a stack of people you haven't seen in some time too!

    Holy resurrection Batman!!!

(I was going to use a real incantation but thought better of it lol)

When it rains it pours. Having not been to many gigs in the last couple of years due to lack of money and not many bands I was dying to see, to having so many to go to.

Saw Wintersun recently, one I thought I'd never see here. And Arcturus again. Now I'm going to Mayhem, Pain, and gotta buy tix for Venom Inc, and Amon Amarth and Sabaton. It's starting out like a great year for metal

The world lost a great vocalist yesterday. Warrel Dane of Nevermore/Sanctuary. He was unique. Always liked Nevermore, but never really got into listening to more of their music unfortunately. I did see them in 2006 at least

One description of his voice is it sounds elderly. Another description (and more metal friendly) is goat-like. Unique is definitely the word because there's no other vocalist I can think of that comes close. RIP.
