Default FOC game teaser trailer now out

Released to SpikeTV's website, but since they seem to be blocking access to Australian IPs, check the Youtube copy here.

Music is a bit weird, as I would have expected something a little bit more fast-paced for an action game.

The teaser trailer (of this game that is still 12 months from release) mostly shows us characters from the first game (which is easier for the animators), but we get our first look at Bruticus combining, and more of Grimlock.

I couldn't see anyone else new though.

I didn't like the music. I don't think the hippy music works for Transformers - Bad call IMO, at first I thought there was a mistake and this was a fan made video.

It hurts the enjoyment of an otherwise awesome trailer as it feels out of place but I do like what I have seen. However the faces are not as good as before.

I think the music is an odd choice too. I understand they'd use a slower track for the slow-mo, feel but I'd still expect something more tecno than a rock ballad.

It doesn't really tell us much about the game tho.
Which brings us to where we are today...

It would have been better if there were no voice lyrics.

The slower music allows them to pad out a 20 second clip of mostly recycled animation models (characters & setting), into a minute. A bit of a letdown, considering the recent build up of hype, but realistically it is only meant to be a teaser, as it is still 12 months away from release.

I like the music, I think it goes well with the clip overall. Thumbs up.

I have to agree with Paulbot on the music. As much as I am not a fan of that kind of music, I think it brings out a certain calmness to a fast paced action, almost as if the Autobots are lamenting the fall of Cybertron. That's the best way I can describe it for now lol.

People here aren't familiar with the Gears of War trailers I guess. "Hey, it worked for them!"

The Hell is up with Prime and Megatron's heads.

Mimicking others is not a good way to make a game stand out on it's own.

I hope this was as Griffin said, too early or rushed otherwise it's pretty tacky to me. The original WFC trailers were much better.
